Yingli Green Solar

1998

  • Founded by Mr Liansheng Miao, Chairman and CEO

2003

  • Commenced module production with capacity of 3 MW

2004

  • Reached 6 MW capacity in ingot, wafer, and cell production and 50 MW in module production

  • Obtained UL, IEC and TÜV certificates

  • Started sales in Germany

2006

  • Reached 95 MW capacity in ingot and wafer production, 60 MW in cell production, and 100 MW in module production

2007

  • Reached 200 MW capacity in ingot, wafer, cell, and module production

2008

  • Reached 400 MW capacity in ingot, wafer, cell, and module production in September

2009

  • Reached 600 MW capacity in ingot, wafer, cell, and module production in July

  • Became the first China-based company to join PV CYCLE

  • Achieved 1 GW of accumulative output of solar modules under the “Yingli Solar” brand since commercial production started in 2003

2010

  • Introduced the high-efficiency, monocrystalline Yingli Solar PANDA Series based on proprietary n-type cell technology

  • 400 MW capacity expansion (100 MW of multicrystalline + 300 MW of monocrystalline capacity)

  • Reached a fully vertically integrated production capacity of 1,000 MW in December

2011

  • Reached nameplate capacity of 1.7 GW at the end of 2011

2012

  • Became world's largest solar panel manufacturer

  • Became the first PV company worldwide to obtain Product Carbon Footprint Verification from TUV Rheinland Group

2013

  • Reached 8GWs of global shipments

2014

  • Delivered more than 10GW of solar panels worldwide

PANDA 60 CELL MODULES and
                      TwinMAX 60 CELL BIFACIAL FRAMELESS MODULES


With an efficiency of up to 20.1%, the PANDA Series has one of the highest module performance ratings in the world.


With cutting-edge PANDA technology, the PANDA 60 modules start working earlier in the day than other PV modules and work later in the day under reduced sunlight levels.    This is also an advantage during the lower light conditions of winter months.  PANDA technology is highly sensitive to the light energy in photons and produces a higher energy yield even at low light levels.   The higher cell efficiency of 20.1% makes the best out of each square meter of your installation. PANDA modules are independently tested in harsh environmental conditions such as exposure to salt mist and ammonia. The 290 watt modules are available with standard silver aluminium frame and white back sheet, as well as a black frame with black back sheet option (BOB) verson.

Also available in the PANDA 60 series, are the TwinMAX 60 cell 270 watt bifacial modules. With both the front and back surfaces of the TwinMAX module equally capable of generating electricity, a 30% gain in power production per square foot is possible.

60 CELL POLY-CRYSTALLINE MODULES WITH PROVEN PERFORMANCE

With a cell efficiency of 18.5%, the YGE Series 2 module has  proven product quality and long-term reliability.


Built to the same exacting standards as their mono-crystalline modules, the Yingli YL260-P solar modules offer the same performance and versatility for a slightly lower $/watt price.  Keep in mind that a mono-crystalline solar module will produce power in a wider range of conditions, whereas poly-crystalline modules perform best in clear, sunny skies.
