The EnergyCell RE Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) battery is designed for high power density and renewable energy cycling applications. Absorbed Glass Matt (AGM) technology provides for efficient gas recombination of up to 99% and freedom from electrolyte maintenance. The EnergyCell RE also features low profile terminals with threaded copper alloy inserts providing reduced maintenance and increased safety.

The EnergyCell® RE High Capacity battery family offers an ideal solution for large applications requiring the use of Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries.

The EnergyCell RE High Capacity battery’s modular design concept with steel-can casing and its integral racking system provide a cost-effective battery system with a compact, quick and simple installation process. The EnergyCell RE High Capacity battery system’s cell design, with Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, incorporates thicker positive plates for longer battery life. The welded/epoxy dual-post sealed design provides the highest integrity battery casing in the industry: large copper posts design also enhances high rate performance. Cells are encased in the module’s dedicated protective steel can encases the cells to maintain constant, uniform compression for the life of the battery. The easy-to-assemble racking provides total flexibility for system configuration and allows fast, simple installation even in the most difficult locations. The EnergyCell RE High Capacity battery, with its optimized recombination chemistry and extra thick plates, has excellent performance, extended service life, and low maintenance requirements for grid-interactive and off-grid renewable energy and UPS applications.

The innovative OutBack Integrated Battery Rack system is a comprehensive battery enclosure which includes all cell interconnects, cabling, and series string over current protection and disconnects. All electrical connections are made at the factory and ship fully assembled with the exception of the batteries, which can be quickly added and connected on the job site, making the Integrated Battery Rack uniquely easy to specify, order and install. Unlike typical steel racks or sheet-metal enclosures, the OutBack design is crafted of powder coated aluminium, resulting in a cleaner appearance able to withstand the most challenging environments, while weighing less than 90 pounds. The 2-shelf IBR-2 is sized to fit under an OutBack Radian inverter/charger to reduce system component “clutter” and make the best use of installation space. Clear covers on the racks permit visual inspection of internal components while providing additional protection for the batteries and electrical connections.
